The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. Job Description:
  • Acquire various offline merchants by reaching out, understanding their business needs and placing them in the Shopee ecosystem for a mutually beneficial partnership
  • Prepare pitch materials and negotiate with strategic business partners and retailers to achieve a win-win partnership.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable with dealing with SMEs and large organizations by providing consultation pertaining to SPX and it’s business operations
  • Highly resourceful and self-motivated to achieve acquisition targets both individually and collaboratively as a team
  • Comfortable with both farming and hunting roles (lead generation and acquisition) and takes full ownership of sourcing and reporting of acquisition pipeline

  • A degree or diploma with relevant experience
  • 1 – 3 years in business development, account management, sales, or related field within the e-commerce or logistics industry is preferred
  • Excellent business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to close
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with key accounts and partners
  • Astute interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly motivated, comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to thrive and navigate ambiguous situations, act decisively and problem-solve in a logical and coherent manner
