What the role is

The Leadership Development Cluster oversees the Leadership and Talent Development policies and approaches at the Public Service level, to achieve the following key outcomes: 1. Effective and High-Performing Leaders & Leadership Teams who deliver with excellence today and innovate for tomorrow 2. Leadership Corps with Greater Diversity in experiences, skillsets & perspectives 3. One Public Service Leadership with a common purpose, identity and values We do so by ensuring that our leadership development (LD) approaches are fit-for-purpose. This includes how we identify, develop, and engage senior public service leaders as well as emerging leaders on the central leadership programmes (i.e. the Administrative Service and Public Service Leadership Programme). We do so in close partnership with our training partner, the Civil Service College as well as the HR community and leaders across the Public Service.

What you will be working on

[Specific Job Responsibilities] Reporting to Senior Assistant Director (Performance Management), you will be part of the team responsible for shaping an effective Public Service through building a progressive talent management framework. You will assist the team to fulfil the following performance management and finance-related responsibilities: • Formulate, manage, implement and review policy and frameworks relating to performance management and directorship appointments. In particular, to determine and support finance-related systems and processes in relation to payments for public sector leaders in the Singapore Public Service. This include computing and verifying payments, as well as projecting and budgeting the annual expected expenditure. • Partner relevant agencies, including Accountant-General’s Department and VITAL to manage payments, and maintain proper records. • Assist in tax filing and payment of CPF/Medisave contributions to CPF Board, where applicable. • Manage and operate relevant systems and databases (including managing system enhancements and vendor), as well as prepare relevant reports. • Support the team in any other Finance-related reviews and projects.
