Job Roles
We are seeking a Scientist with Silicon photonics experience to work on photonics integrated chips design and engineering. The scientist will work on device design, photonic circuit layout with commercial Si photonics fabrication and optical to electronic testing and measurements.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development for Silicon photonics chips
- Design photonics integrated circuit
- Perform optical simulations and optimization
- Work with Si photonics foundry for fabrication
- Perform optical and electronic measurements
Job Qualification
- Master or PhD Degree in Science and Engineering, Physics or Applied Physics or related discipline to Optics and Photonics.
- 2 years working experience preferred.
- Candidate is expected to be familiar with optical simulation software, photonic layout software and understanding of Si Photonics fabrication
- Experience with optical and electronic test and measurements
- Commercial Si Photonics product design and product engineering is preferred
