You will be responsible for driving Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) efforts, including identifying sectoral strengths and gaps and proposing solutions to achieve sustainable improvement and better outcomes for WSH in the assigned industry. You will need to build rapport and foster strong partnerships with industry stakeholders through the industry committees, taskforces or workgroups to promote WSH and drive adoption of best practices and programmes.Job Responsibilities: Foster strong partnerships and close collaboration with key industry players to understand the inner workings, needs and challenges of various sectors via industry committees, taskforces, workgroups, key industry leaders, companies, associations, unions, post-accident visits, etc. Analyse and understand emerging trends and developments that could potentially impact WSH in assigned industry. Develop industry specific strategies and plans through mapping out the efforts needed to develop each industry or area of concern. Articulate such programmes and initiatives to address WSH issues. Facilitate and coordinate collective efforts to create sustainable improvements in WSH via industry committees. Provide secretariat support to the industry committees or taskforces and also support in the areas of work planning and budget allocation. Lead the project management team in implementing and driving adoption of WSH programmes/projects. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the progress of programmes and initiatives implementation. Work closely with internal departments in the development of strategy formulation as well as programme development and review.Job Requirements: A tertiary qualification, preferably an engineering degree. Preferably 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in managing various stakeholders (e.g. private companies, government agencies, unions and associations) and project management experience. Good knowledge of the Built Environment sector and workplace safety and health management Highly driven individual who can lead projects and be a good team player. Good analytical, written and verbal communication skills.Kindly state your expected salary in your application.
