We are looking for a Manager, Global Sales (Singapore) to join our team.

As a Manager, Global Sales (Singapore), we rely on you to:

Represent and promote Shangri-La Group properties to key Corporate companies and professional conference organisers (PCOs), MICE agencies located in Singapore and assigned source markets in Southeast Asia. Cultivate strong relationships to ensure business revenue goals are achieved or exceeded and drive brand loyalty to maximise Corporate Transient and Groups / Events business to our hotels and resorts from this region.

Develop and implement SMART strategic action plans to achieve and exceed sales goals and Geo source objectives as set out in annual Goal Performance Reviews.

Develop new businesses (Groups / Corporate Transient).

Monitor accounts’ production and offer solution to improve sales production and protect market share.

Lead / drive sales related activities to build clients’ relationships and generate business from the Corporate Transient / Groups segments.

Maintain close liaison with Hotels and Global Sales Offices on co-managed accounts to build incremental revenue, solicit new accounts, action inquiries and generate new business.

Assists Director, Global Sales (Singapore) to prepare relevant segments and source markets annual Budget Plan and Sales Strategy & Business Plan.

We are looking for someone who:

Has at least 2 years of Sales experience in the hospitality industry

Has experience in handling Corporate RFP accounts and good in-depth knowledge of MICE agencies

Has good interpersonal skills and a team player.

Has excellent planning and follow-up skills.

Is proficient in both written and spoken communication

Is able to travel overseas for work assignments when required

Is IT savvy (preferred)
