COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Our Institutional Catering Division prepares more than 44,000 meals daily and provides more than 16 million meals annually to various commercial and governmental organisations.

Our service also includes onsite kitchen management for various business sectors.

DESIGNATION : Junior Sous Chef – Orchid Country Club

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working Pattern 6 days work week

Shift Pattern: 6am – 2pm / 7am to 3pm / 8am to 4pm

Working location: OCC Banquet kitchen @ Orchid Country Club

Responsibility:

  • To oversee and be responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen and food quality with proper housekeeping and high standard of cleanliness and hygiene maintained at all times.
  • To ensure quality of preparations, cooking and packing meet the standard and maintain proper consistency in food quality set by management.
  • To supervise kitchen staff during meal preparation and cooking to ensure meeting food safety and workplace safety standards
  • To ensure all cook/operator in all production area work are efficiency and productivity
  • To do menu planning, event menu and food costing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of cooking in Asian cuisine
  • Possess excellent communication skills, knowledge of HACCP and inventory management
