Job Detail

Job Overview

  • Based in Singapore, to provide IT service desk assistance to support activities across offices in the Asia Pacific region and to handle all troubleshooting and hardware setup in Singapore Office.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide timely diagnosis and troubleshooting to resolve software and hardware issues raised by end users, both remote and local
  • Talk to end users through a series of actions, either via phone, email, chat or teams call, until a technical issue is resolved
  • Setup, Install and fully configure Windows operating system and application softwares e.g. Microsoft Office and provide technical training to end users upon setup completion
  • Prioritise and manage several open issues at one time
  • Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
  • Enforce & comply with organisation’s operating procedures & security policies
  • Accomplish all other tasks as assigned or requested by management

Requirements

  • Qualifications in information technology or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in troubleshooting
  • Fresh school leaves with relevant experience would also be considered
  • Flexibility to working hours from time to time

Skills & Attributes

  • Windows Operating Systems to advanced level
  • Good knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, VPN devices and wireless technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP
  • Strong understanding of network permissions and security
  • Proven technical, problem solving and troubleshooting ability
  • Analytical with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues in a dynamic environment
  • Advantageous to have the following:
  • Advanced Desktop and Server support skills with Azure Active Directory/Windows 10/Office 365/Sharepoint/MS Team experience/knowledge in Azure
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Active Directory, AADDS, AAD, group policy and domain controllers
