Job Summary

The HR Executive plays an important role in supporting the HR Manager in the implementation and administration of the full spectrum of Human Resources activities, such as recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Work with HR Manager and Management to implement HR policies and plans that will meet SSW Group’s business objectives
  • Support Group’s efforts in recruitment, selection and onboarding of new staff, including developing JDs, liaison with recruitment agencies, resume screening, interviews and follow-up actions
  • Handle all aspects of payroll matters accurately and on a timely manner
  • Promptly and effectively handle all staff injury, medical and insurance claims
  • Handle employee’s queries and follow-up actions on HR-related matters, including appeals, grievances or other HR-related issues
  • Responsible for handling all work pass applications, on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including exit interviews
  • Responsible for training and development programs, from training needs analysis to administration & evaluation of trainings
  • Be actively involved in all staff welfare and recreational activities, promote SSW corporate values to build positive workplace culture
  • Maintenance and updating of all HR records in a complete, timely and organised manner, particularly P-Files, regulatory documents, HR manual and employee handbook
  • Assist in reviewing relevant HR Policies and SOPs
  • Support HR Manager on regular reviews and development of new Comps & Bens policies
  • Provide administrative support and take on other ad-hoc duties as assigned by HR Manager

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Human Resources Management
  • At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work well and deliver results under pressure and resource constraints
  • A hands-on HR practitioner with high integrity, strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Payroll experience is a must
  • Analytical, resourceful, well-organized and meticulous with an eye for details
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act and HR trends

Other Skills, Experience Considered Advantageous

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), MS Visio.
  • Multilingual (English, Chinese, Malay, Dialects)
  • Savvy in using social media

Additional Notes

5 Days work week with Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) as appropriate

Official Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 6.00pm

Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm
