Job Detail

Principal Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for end to end delivery of executive hires, whilst being viewed as a true subject matter expert,
  • Responsible for the delivery, governance and ownership of the end-to-end hiring process driving and owning a world class high touch candidate internal and external, hiring manager and Human Resources experience
  • Own the end-to-end recruitment delivery with a primary focus on direct delivery, supported by external executive search partners, where it makes strategic sense to do so
  • Deliver a ‘white glove’ client/customer experience for both hiring managers and candidates (both internal and external) and act as a brand ambassador for HSBC in all interactions with the external market
  • Support and, where required, challenge business and HR leaders to make robust hiring decisions which support business and people strategy objectives
  • Develop strategic relationships / partnerships with external solution providers (i.e. Executive Search, Assessment and Talent Research)
  • Be a primary driver to source world class talents directly through a number of different channels, including referrals, market mapping and insight led work
  • Engage with Learning and Talent to ensure there is an optimum mix of build, buy and borrow, ensuring the use of internal talent is used not only in succession planning, but also for cross business roles
  • Provide advices and insights into candidates, their experience, background and compensation expectation. Ability to broker deals with complex candidates from different regions and companies
  • Partner with the Human Resources Business Partners, HR CoEs and business leaders to deliver against hiring needs, ensuring they support and partner at every step of the journey
  • The successful candidate will own the day to day hiring metrics and numbers to ensure there is a global joined up approach at all levels, champion one way of working to ensure that the systems and processes empower Resourcing

Requirements

  • Multiple years of executive search experience in a large international business e.g. financial services, insurance, investment banking, retail and commercial banking
  • Experience of working effectively in a global matrixed manner
  • Ability to change the status quo when it comes to the resourcing
  • Exceptional research skills and knowledge across social networking platforms
  • Well networked across Singapore and Asia Pacific
  • Experience working in a global matrixed manner with strong understanding of global resourcing practice and the relationship between workforce planning and
  • Experience of partnering with the most senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Experience in all aspects of talent management, offer negotiations, buy outs, etc.
