PURPOSE
Act as an account manager managing the financial advisory (FA) distribution channels.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Responsible for business development with FA partners to support FWD’s growth strategy for both top line and bottom line
  • Drives the required sales behaviour in line with FWD’s business requirements by promoting FWD’s products and services to new and existing partners
  • Build a sustainable long-term relationship with core FA partners
  • Generate business development opportunities and account management activities with Financial Advisers
  • Participate in product development cycle to ensure that the product specifications meet the needs of the targeted customer segments
  • Provide market feedback on market trends including but not limited to product features and marketing activities of competitors, etc
  • Work closely with marketing team to ensure products and services are in the forefront of the market
  • Partner with operations team to ensure seamless operational processes and ensure excellent customer experience
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements, when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • More than 5 years of direct experience managing a FA channel with an insurer
  • Have existing relationships with FAs in the market
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY
  • Good understanding of life products and trends that are key within the FA channels
  • Ability to influence key internal stakeholders to deliver a winning products and services proposition
  • Ability to provide recommendations based on customer needs and market trends
  • Highly independent and motivated
  • Customer centric with strong communication skills
