About the job

The Red Hat People (HR) team is looking for an Associate Manager to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will work in an exciting, fast-paced environment where you’ll manage a team of graduates throughout their 12-month journey on our Asia Pacific (APAC) Graduate Program. As part of the HR Global Business Partners and Talent team, you will partner with HR and Finance colleagues from a number of teams to consult with the business on our early talent long term strategy.

The APAC Graduate Program is launching in 2022, in Singapore with Technology Graduates joining Red Hat on to this new and exciting development program. The graduates will become familiar with Red Hat technologies and be immersed into our Sales and Services teams where they will gain technical and soft skill training to help launch their careers in Solutions Architecture and Consulting.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can work with minimal supervision and partner with cross-functional stakeholders and partners to effectively and efficiently deliver a positive experience for graduates and their support system. You’ll need to be able to make connections quickly, prioritize tasks, and apply organizational skills. You’ll report directly to the Global Early Talent Senior Manager on the HR Global Business Partners and Talent team.

What you will do

  • Lead the successful design, development, and delivery of the key components across the full life cycle of the Graduate program
  • Coordinate the graduate work experience within the teams, and set up and enable the graduates’ support system, e.g., rotation managers, buddies, mentors
  • Ensure the graduates’ milestones and certification completion
  • Act as the point of contact throughout the program for the graduates and the support system members
  • Coordinate and ensure onboarding experience, as well as overall development plan and engagement
  • Coordinate graduate review process and transition into landing roles post graduate program transition
  • Facilitate participant feedback sessions
  • Support the strategy and planning for future cohorts of graduates
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support Red Hat teams and communities on early talent hiring needs and outreach initiatives
  • Partner with the Early Talent team and program stakeholders to collect, analyze, and share feedback, trends, and opportunities for program improvements

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in delivering, planning, or recruiting for programs, ideally gained within the talent management space; early talent program delivery is a plus
  • Proven record of designing and launching successful processes, programs, or projects, and developing go-to-market strategies with demonstrated impact across a global organization
  • Solid team focus and highly collaborative with the proven ability to lead through influence
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and manage successful outcomes cross-functionally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to quickly establish and maintain credibility with audiences at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle many competing priorities or deadlines with energy and focus
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills; comfortable speaking in front of the early-in-career program participants
  • Ability to be highly collaborative in approach to the design and delivery of successful programs
