FunctionArea Sales Engineer/Senior Area Sales EngineerReporting LineReports directly to the Head of Area SalesMain Responsibility: Achievement of Area Sales BudgetsIn this position he/she drives and supports the development of the assigned country markets in Asia-Pacific, such as South Korea, Australia and Singapore with the aim of reaching and exceeding the objectives in terms of sales and profitability.Key tasks • Visit regularly Distributors and their potential customers to develop product sales in assigned country markets. • Visit target customers (Machine Builders, System Integrators, Panel Builders) to create and increase the market demand for electronic/electrical automation component products • Creating and execution of action plans, promotional programs/initiatives that will enhance Distributor’s performance • Organize and conduct sales training and seminars for the sale-force of our Distributors as well as Key Customers • Use CRM to have a central repository of all customer information, prioritise opportunities, manage pipelines, forecasts and improve sales efficiency • Working closely with APAC Marketing team conveying relevant data related to competition, market trends, new applications/developments aimed to improve market penetration and brand awarenessThe ideal candidateEducation : Graduate in electrical/electronic engineering.Additional qualification in business administrationor marketing will be an advantageLanguage : Fluent in English verbally as well as in writing.Business Experience : Knowledge in Industrial and Building Automation market; Experience in IIOT, Industrial 4.0, Sensors, SSR and Energy products will be beneficial; Ability to work independently and directly with customers in achieving sales objectives.Personal qualification : Highly sales driven with 3-4 years’ experience in the sale of industrial automation products;A dynamic person with entrepreneurial skills and energy with the ability and ambition to develop successfully with the company; Team player with good communication and interpersonal skillsWorkplace : Based in Singapore, however intensive travel to assigned Countries in Asia Pacific region is required.Salary, etc. : Base salary plus bonus according to achievement of sales targets; Estimated SGD 50 to 60k per Annum
